The ancient temples at Angkor in Cambodia were a small revelation to me. Even though most of the temples have been restored and millions of tourists visit every year, it's still possible to get lost among the ruins alone and experience the deep, haunting spirit of this place. The people around Angkor I found as fascinating as the temples themselves. In fact, I couldn't really separate the two. The faces are the same.
